Caring for Rose Anemones the right way

BTA Rose Anemone

It looks like a BTA but is it?

I have had a few of these over the years and find them adorable.
They are not Entacmaea Quadricolor  however and some people say they multiply very fast.
In the one tank I had this cute little fellow in, he only split one time thus just having two
in my tank was no problem.
They get around 1 1/2 to 2 inches across at the maximum and have only a few rings of tentacles
around their outer edge . They do not go all of the way to the mouth.

They look just like miniature
Entacmaea Quadricolor  when looking at them and also feed the same.
They have bulb tips most of the time, very seldom do they loose them but they will at times
only to regain them very soon.
Many people say that they are pests and multiply very fast. I have not found that to be true at all
and so I do recommend them for small tanks such as a 5 to 10 gallon tank.

I have only seen them in a green color but some people have seen them in brown or red  from what I have read.

Personally I would love to have a few of them again as I lost mine when I moved and I find
them just too cute.
Here are pictures of my Majano when I had him.

At one time he split in half leaving another identical anemone just like him below.
I had this little guy for over a year before he split so I do not call them prolific by any means.
