Closing up
Anemones close up for a lot of reasons.
Usually while they are eating and almost always at night while
sleeping.
I took these pictures the other day of one of my
largest roses all closed up, tentacles sucked in and sleeping
during the early morning hours.
He opened up a few minutes after the lights came on.
And all back to normal in a few minutes
Here is another smaller Rose that lives next to the large one
above.
It was closed up after a large meal today and I grabbed my camera
to show you how cute he is.
This is totally normal and they will do it every now
and then.
Sometimes as seen in the pictures above, they won't have any tentacles
showing at all.
Some new photo's I have taken of more of my roses closing up.
These where this way in the morning after the lights were turned on.
As you can see, the cleaner shrimp is taking advantage of him while he is
sleeping.
