Mixing things up

What is the secret to having BTA's in a mixed Reef?

I have found that if they get hungry they wander.

So I never let my Roses get hungry.

I have  been keeping Roses with all of my

other Corals in 2 of my 4 tanks without one moving more than an inch since it's placement.
See my sections on current tanks and the Clowns spawning page for pictures of my mixed Reef tanks.
Here is my 125. I have  15 Roses (as of 9-11-07) in this tank

living with mixed softies.

(See updates section on the 125 with new pictures taken in Sept of 07)

The picture below is when it was first set up and if you look at

the picture above, you can see how nicely they have all grown

and filled in.

Below is the  Left side of the above tank.

I have also added 2 LTA's  to see how they get along, they are side by side with 4 BTA's

and are doing just fine.

There was a bit of warfare when I first introduced them, so the Rose has moved to the right a few inches.

Now they get along great as long as they do not touch each other.

So it is best to not mix Anemones in a tank.

(update on the LTA)

I have added another of the same kind and they are side

by side but not shown in the picture.

Here are some Xenia and Roses side by side, they get along great with no stinging at all.

There are three Roses in the picture, all are Buds from my largest Anemone that buds about once a month.

My 75 gallon mixed reef houses 5 large BTA's and rocks

covered in Mushrooms.

It also houses several fish  including a pair  of Spawning Clarki Clowns.

And it now has 5 large BTA's, all from One large that has split several times.

Above is the right side of the tank where the Anemones live

And another view from the front.
